Rissi Palmer’s “Still Here” is a new EP (out 8/25 on Invasion Merch) by the trailblazing Americana artist, already featured this year on PBS American Masters and NPR World Cafe. The title track, a duet with its co-writer, Miko Marks, is a survivor’s anthem that speaks to all those who have shown fortitude in the face of overwhelming adversity. EP release follows the single’s Americana chart success to launch a broader radio campaign for “Still Here,” plus fan favorites from previous releases that earned hundreds of thousands of streams. Rissi (pronounced “Reese-ee”) also hosts the Apple Music radio show “Color Me Country.”

    Rissi Palmer was featured on PBS stations nationwide in May 2023 in an episode of My Music with Rhiannon Giddens. Host Rhiannon Giddens visits with Rissi Palmer, a passionate voice for country music artists of color and those who have been marginalized by the mainstream music establishment. Rissi performs her first hit song, “Country Girl,” and 2019’s “Seeds.”

    Rissi Palmer was featured on PBS stations nationwide in an episode of American Masters that aired in March 2023. Hosted by Audra McDonald, the episodes titled In the Making” follows Rissi Palmer and Opera singer J’Nai Bridges, two African-American female artists who break cultural barriers, while uplifting other artists of color in their respective genres.
