    Reminders of Him

The literary phenomenon from #1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover becomes a transformative feature film about motherhood, forgiveness and the power of love to overcome even the worst mistake. After a perfect outing with her boyfriend, Kenna (Maika Monroe; The Hand that Rocks the Cradle, Longlegs) makes an unbearable mistake that sends her to prison. Seven years later, Kenna returns to her hometown in Wyoming, hoping to rebuild her life and earn the chance to reunite with her young daughter, Diem, whom she has never known.

The film’s cast includes screen legends Lauren Graham (Gilmore Girls, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist) and three-time Emmy winner Bradley Whitford (Get Out, The Handmaid’s Tale), Rudy Pankow (Outer Banks, Uncharted), Tyriq Withers (HIM, I Know What You Did Last Summer), and Grammy winner and country music sensation Lainey Wilson (Yellowstone).

Leading an all-female filmmaking team, Vanessa Caswill (Love at First Sight, Little Women mini-series) directs Reminders of Him from a screenplay by Colleen Hoover and Lauren Levine, based on Hoover’s novel. The film is produced by Colleen Hoover (exec producer of It Ends with Us, Regretting You), Lauren Levine (Bridge to Terabithia, exec producer, Confess series) and Gina Matthews (Isn’t it Romantic, 13 Going on 30), and is executive produced by Robin Mulcahy Fisichella.

“So smart and so capable. So kind. Never ever wavered in her convictions. Always cheerful and generous with her time and knowledge. If she didn’t know how to do something she’d figure it out. I feel lucky that she was in my life and heartbroken that she has left us far too soon.” – Jane Wiedlin, The Go-Go’s

“Jill was a bright light. A true warrior for injustice. Her gift was her ability to deliver cold truth in a warm way… Let her beacon shine on in us. Jill was a priceless nugget.” – Cy Curnin, The Fixx

“She was a true light and a true friend.” – Lizz Winstead

“Dear Jilly, Thanks for letting us open for you that time in Iowa and that other time in South Carolina and all the other times too and for letting us be a part of your Off Broadway hit show – that was a really fun stunt you pulled…We don’t like you…WE LOVE YOU.” – Antigone Rising

“Her powerful presence as a performer was a beautiful thing – utterly original, vulnerable and courageous. Jill’s wordplay and melodic sensibility was unparalleled…so much intelligence and also so much heart in her songs. No one looked like her, no one sounded like her.” – Rachael Sage

“Sobule offered some kind of vision for what a different future might be…every song on her 1995 self-titled album upended the pre-set systems for what mattered.” – VOGUE

“…a kind soul, passionate, wacky, witty, fiercely independent, and committed to music and the politics of social justice. She was loaded with talent.” – David Corn, Mother Jones

“She changed an important conversation and furthered an entire movement in her own way with her art.” – Forbes

“When we think of the great songwriters with a capital “S” that littered the landscape of American lyricists, Sobule should unquestionably be there among that pantheon of scribes.” – FLOOD Magazine
