It's also a previously unreleased song written by Bill Withers, discovered as an early demo and, with the blessing of Bill and Marcia Withers, is brought to life for the first time by Taj Mahal and the Phantom Blues Band.

    “Time” is a previously unreleased song written by Bill Withers, discovered as an early demo and, with the blessing of Bill and Marcia Withers, is brought to life for the first time by Taj Mahal and the Phantom Blues Band. It's the title track to their new album out May 1, 2026 from Thirty Tigers. Recorded around 2010, Time weaves original compositions by members of the Phantom Blues Band with deep-cut blues interpretations, alongside a previously unreleased original song by Bill Withers.

      Rozzi Fig Tree Exhibit: Good News

      In September 2025, the Ki Smith Gallery in New York, NY hosted an art exhibit of works inspired by songs from Rozzi’s then unreleased Fig Tree album. 26 artists were hand-selected by Julian Lennon, Gia Coppola, Kiersey Clemons, Simon Le Bon and Simon Shaw each paired with tracks to create an interdisciplinary dialogue between art and music.

      Jiashun Zhou and Xinzi Luo were the two artists chosen to represent “Good News.” See their pieces below along with their comments on how they were inspired by Rozzi’s music. Stay tuned for details on works chosen to represent “Good News” and more for her LA gallery events planned for May (5/14, 5/21, 5/28) and June (6/4, 6/11) that will also include a live performance by Rozzi.
