Jazz Fest Radio Special

There are many jazz festivals in the world, but there is only one “jazz fest” - the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. This podcast presents the music, culture, resilience, history and rhythm of the festival that inspired the new film Jazz Fest: A New Orleans Story. Oscar-nominee Frank Marshall, jazz fest producer Quint Davis, and festival performers tell the stories behind the story. You’ll also hear legendary live performances from the festival’s first 50 years.

The official audio companion to the Sony Pictures Classics documentary, EAT THAT QUESTION: Frank Zappa in His Own Words, produced and hosted by Paul Chuffo (Joyride Media).

EAT THAT QUESTION is an hilarious, all-archival footage portrait of legendary rock star / composer Frank Zappa – from his 1963 clean-cut appearance on The Steve Allen Show, to full counter-culture freaky regalia, as leader of the Mothers of Invention.

Besides Zappa’s own words excerpted from the film, content includes comments from his family (daughter Moon Zappa), friends (Chuck Ash), bandmates (Mike Keneally, Al Malkin) and fans (Jake Cinninger of Umphrey’s McGee), from interviews conducted exclusively for this project upon the film’ 2016 theatrical release.
